Terms & Disclaimer
We tell you this now, so there is no argument later. It applies to All About Automotives and to Grand Automotive Service Centre, our bodyshop division.
About insurance claims
Whether a claim is approved, how much is approved, and what your policy covers are decisions made by your insurance company, not by us. We prepare the estimate, deal with the surveyor and do the repair. We cannot approve a claim and we cannot promise any particular settlement amount.
“Cashless” means your insurer pays us directly for the approved amount. It does not mean the repair is free. You normally pay your deductible, depreciation on replaced parts and consumables, plus anything your policy excludes.
The surveyor sometimes approves less than our estimate. If that happens we show you exactly what was reduced, and why, before any work begins.
The claim stays between you and your insurer. We coordinate the survey, the estimate and the repair — we are a repairer, not an insurance intermediary, and we do not sell, solicit or advise on insurance.
About our insurer list
The insurers listed on this website have marked us a preferred workshop. We also handle cashless claims for insurers not on that list. Preferred status and network arrangements are set by the insurers and can change at any time without notice to us. We confirm your insurer's current position before work starts.
Insurer names and marks belong to their respective owners and are shown only to indicate the companies we work with. Their appearance here does not imply that they endorse or are affiliated with us.
About prices, timing and warranties
Any price given before we see the car is an estimate. The final price is confirmed in writing after inspection, and we do not carry out extra work without your approval. Delivery dates are our honest estimate and can move if a part is delayed, if an insurer takes longer to approve, or if we find hidden damage.
Warranties on coating and film are provided by the product manufacturer on their terms. They normally require correct aftercare and do not cover accident damage, chemical damage or normal wear. We will hand you the warranty document so you can read the conditions yourself.
About towing and recovery
Recovery is arranged through independent partners. Response time depends on your location, the road and traffic. We confirm what is possible before we dispatch, and we are not responsible for delays caused by conditions outside our control.
If anyone is injured or the vehicle is obstructing a carriageway, call the emergency services first. We are a workshop, not an emergency service.
About results
Ceramic coating and paint protection film reduce the risk of swirl marks, light scratches and stone chips. They do not make a car scratch-proof or dent-proof, and no coating removes the need to wash the car. Results depend on the condition of the paint before treatment.
Colour matching on a repaired panel is done to the closest achievable match; on older or faded paint a perfect match is not always physically possible, and we will tell you before we start if we expect that.
Sun film is fitted within the visible light transmission limits set by law. We will not fit a darker film than is permitted, whatever the request.
About leaving your vehicle with us
Please remove cash, documents, electronics and personal valuables before you hand the car over. We take reasonable care of vehicles on our premises, but we cannot accept responsibility for personal items left inside.
Vehicles are kept at your risk while awaiting parts, awaiting insurer approval or awaiting collection. If a vehicle is left uncollected for an extended period after we have told you it is ready, storage may apply and we will tell you the rate in writing before it starts.
Both our premises have a paint booth, so your car is normally repaired where you leave it. We may move it between our Panvel and Dombivli premises where workload or parts availability means that gets it back to you sooner. We tell you when that is going to happen.
About your information
When you contact us we collect only what we need to do the job: your name, phone number, vehicle details and, for an insurance claim, your policy information. We use it to quote, to carry out the work, to raise an invoice and to deal with your insurer on that claim.
We do not sell your information. We share it with your insurer and their surveyor where you have asked us to handle a claim, and with parts suppliers or recovery partners only as far as the job requires. We keep records for as long as tax and warranty obligations require.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to info@allaboutautomotives.in and we will respond.
Messages you send us on WhatsApp are handled on WhatsApp's platform under their terms, not ours.
